Hi, sewing sisters - that is a nice name. I was just paring down some patterns and lamenting I had nobody to whom I might give some away. They are not dated or used or anything - I've just bought a few dozen over the years that don't suit my body type, and need to stick to fewer anyway. metal welt pocket template question
anyone know of a good DVD/book that shows how to use a metal welt pocket template? Bought one about ten years ago, took a class, and need a review on how to use the metal template. thanks.

New Sew-er
Just trying to connect with people in the Milwaukee area and learn how to sew. The goal -- be able to sew my own clothes and those of my family. AND -- I work summers as a maintenance man at a summer camp -- I'd like to be able to sew new "flaps" for all the cabins.
I could trade some carpentry / painting / handyman-type work for some good instruction!
